I have established a remote connection between two PCs. For some reason, the keyboard does not work in AnyDesk, I cannot copy/paste text using the Ctrl + C, Ctrl + V keys. How to set up the control correctly?
Typically, the keyboard does not respond to pressing if restrictions on its use are set in the AnyDesk program. Hotkey issues can occur when a user connects to a computer with a different operating system.

AnyDesk connection always uses the keyboard settings set on the connection initiator’s device. Example: if you have a Mac computer, when copying information on a remote Windows device, you must use the Command (or Cmd) + C keys.

If you choose the correct hotkeys, but the keyboard does not work in AnyDesk, you need to make changes to the program settings.

Click on the menu button in the upper right corner, go to “Settings” – “Security”.

Why are hotkeys not working in AnyDesk?

Check the boxes “Control my device’s keyboard and mouse”, “Access my device’s clipboard”, and “Access my device’s clipboard to transfer files.”

After changing the settings, close the window and connect to the remote PC again. The mouse and keyboard should work correctly.
