I installed the remote control program on my MacBook Pro. After connecting via TeamViewer to another Mac, the screen turned gray, the desktops shortcuts disappeared. Reboot did not help, after re-launching the program, the error occurred again. What to do?
TeamViewer can disable desktop wallpaper to optimize performance. The background image becomes black, but the shortcuts and the cursor should remain in place. The problem you describe is not related to the remote access program.

If you were working as usual, and after connecting via TeamViewer on Mac, a gray screen without shortcuts appeared, this is an alarm signal. This error indicates a malfunction of the video card and graphics processor.

If a gray screen appears, you need to restart your computer. Rebooting may fix some failures automatically. If the problem persists, you need to contact the service center. Specialists will determine the exact cause of the malfunction.
