I cannot set up a connection between my PC and a remote computer through TeamViewer. When I try to connect, it says “Connection failed (no route)”.
The notification you specified appears if a failure occurred while creating the routing protocol. The reason for this error is the lack of a response from the remote computer.

Often the connection is interrupted if there is no Internet on one of the devices or a software failure occurs. First aid is to check if both computers are connected to the Internet and restart them.

Another possible cause of failure is the use of an outdated version of the program. If, after rebooting the device, there is still no route in TeamViewer, go to Menu and select “Check for new version”.

If a new version is available, an Update button will appear. Click on it and wait for the download to finish.

Sometimes the error occurs due to incorrectly configured access rights. To change the settings, open the Menu and go to “Extras” – “Options”.

Select “Advanced” and click “Show advanced options”. Select “Full Access” for connections to this and other computers.

Do this on both machines.

Sometimes the routing protocol cannot be created due to data in the DNS cache. To clear the cache on a Windows PC, press Win + R, type cmd into the Run window, then click OK.
