I downloaded TeamViewer from an unofficial site. Along with this program, I was asked to install additional utilities TVTools_AlterID and TVshell for TeamViewer. What are those? What are they needed for?
TeamViewer has free and paid versions. If you create many connections in the free version, a warning will appear on the screen to purchase the extended paid version. Until you buy a license, the program will turn off every 5 minutes. Those utilities allow you to remove restrictions.

TVTools_AlterID is designed to replace the computer ID: the identification number changes every time you log into TeamViewer. TV Shell allows you to manage your contact list and use VPN services to hide your IP.

The utilities need to be downloaded to your PC, saved in the same folder with the installed TeamViewer program and run. As soon as the user sets up TV Tools for TeamViewer, the restrictions imposed on the user will be lifted, the connection to the remote computer will no longer be interrupted every 5 minutes. After installing TV Shell, the user can change IP and access foreign sites that were previously blocked.
