The free version of TeamViewer is intended for home non-commercial use, one-time assistance. The total duration of connections in this version should not exceed 15 hours per month.
If you remotely assisted clients, colleagues, created multiple connections, or exceeded the 15-hour limit, a warning about violation of the rules will appear on the screen. After that, the program will start to close every 5 minutes or immediately after the connection is created.
TeamViewer calculates violators using internal algorithms. Restrictions are imposed on the ID associated with the account. There are several ways to remove restrictions:
- Uninstall TeamViewer, then install the latest version and log into it with a new account.
- Install the TVTools_AlterID utility in the folder with the TeamViewer program to change the identification number.
- Buy an extended paid version of the program.
If you are using TeamViewer for commercial purposes, it is recommended that you select the latter option. To purchase a license, go to “Menu” – “Extras” and select “Buy license”.
After that, you will be redirected to the official website where you can select a subscription.
