When someone remotely connects to my PC via TeamViewer, a notification pops up on the desktop. How to remove the TeamViewer icon on the right side of the screen so it stops bothering me?

The developers are pretty adamant about not being able to hide the program, because TeamViewer shall not be used as some spyware application.

You can’t hide local TeamViewer panel, but you can minimize it.

How to hide TeamViewer side panel

Press the “Menu” button, then go to “Extras” – “Options” – “Advanced” and click “Show advanced options”. Then find the “Automatically minimize local TeamViewer panel” box and check it. You may also check the “Close to tray menu” box as well.
