How to disable TeamViewer on PC

Good afternoon! I remotely connected to a colleague's computer, and then closed the session. But I can't figure out how to disable TeamViewer completely. Which button can be used to close this program?

You can shut down TeamViewer using the appropriate command in the program settings. Also, you can disable the application in the Windows notification area.

If the window with the program is open, go to “Menu” and select “Exit TeamViewer”.

If the program window is minimized, right-click on it in the system tray (Windows notification area) and select “Exit TeamViewer”.

If you are unable to disable TeamViewer on the computer this way, it means that disabling the program is prohibited in its settings.

Go to “Menu” – “Extras” – “Options” – “Advanced”. Click “Show advanced options” and scroll all the way down. Now untick the “Disable TeamViewer shutdown” box.

Only a person with administrator rights can change the program settings. If the “Options” are password protected and you don’t know the password, you won’t be able to edit the settings and close the program without the help of an administrator.
