I installed a free version of TeamViewer on my PC. I went to the developer's site, and registered. I don’t understand how to remotely control another computer with TeamViewer. What do I need to do to connect to a remote device?
To connect remotely, several conditions must be met. Both users must have TeamViewer installed on their device, and a stable Internet connection is also required. How to control a computer remotely via TeamViewer is described in detail in the following paragraphs.
To set up a remote connection, both PC users must open TeamViewer and log in with their username and password.
Next steps:
- In the left portion of the screen select “Remote control”. In the “Allow Remote Control” block you will see the ID and password assigned to your device.
- The user of the computer for which you want to set up remote control must copy his ID and transfer it to the second user in any convenient way.
- On the second computer, the copied ID must be entered in the “Partner ID” field, above the “Connect” button.
- After the user presses “Connect”, they enter the password and gain access to the partner’s desktop and can start remote control.
